Customer Reviews
Basement floor drain kept backing up whenever we ran laundry. Devin ran a camera down the line and found roots coming in at a joint out by the yard.
Had Botzum out because our water pressure dropped all over the house. He found the pressure reducing valve by the main was failing and replaced it. Big difference, the upstairs shower finally has decent pressure. He worked in a tight corner of the basement and didn't rush it. Cleaned up after himself too, you'd never know he was down there.
Water heater stopped staying lit one morning. Devin diagnosed a bad thermocouple and luckily had one on the truck. He also relit the pilot. Hot water is back to normal. He explained why it kept going out, which I appreciated. About an hour, fair price. Glad we called before buying a new tank. Only wish the office called back quicker.
Our garbage disposal started leaking and my husband almost tried swapping it himself until he saw how cramped that cabinet is. The plumber came the next morning, showed up early, and had a new one in within the hour. Husband was pretty relieved honestly. Cabinet's been dry ever since.

Before You Book a Visit
What kinds of plumbing work do you handle?
Most of our calls are for drain cleaning, water heater replacement, leak repair, clogged toilets, sump pump installation, and fixing or replacing faucets, garbage disposals and shutoff valves.
We also do sewer line camera inspections, repiping, and new bathroom and kitchen rough-ins, mostly in older single-family houses, rental units, duplexes and small commercial spaces.
How do I book a visit?
Call (330) 548-2855, or send the short request form with your name, phone and the service you need. The full request form has room for the address and a description of the problem.
If water is leaking or a drain is backing up, call rather than writing.
Can I send photos of the problem?
Yes, by email: send them to devin@botzumplumbing.com and mention your name and street in the message. A picture of a leaking valve, the water heater label or a backed-up drain helps us bring the right parts.
Do you work on rentals and small commercial spaces?
Yes. Alongside single-family houses we work in rental units, duplexes and small commercial spaces in Cuyahoga Falls, Akron, Stow, Tallmadge and Munroe Falls.
What do you check before leaving a job?
We test water pressure with a gauge and run every fixture to check flow. A new supply line is pressure-tested and the gauge watched before any wall is closed. On water heaters we check the temperature, the venting and the relief valve, and after a drain job we run water long enough to confirm it clears.
We also look for slow seepage under sinks and around shutoffs. Every job gets these checks before we leave.
